Cagayan II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAGELCO II), a non-profit, non-stock & service-oriented electric cooperative is primarily formed for the purpose of supplying, promoting and encouraging the fullest use of electric service to its members on an area coverage basis pursuant to the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 269. Initially, the National Electrification Administration granted P66.25 M to start electrification in CAGELCO II coverage area. On September 01, 1978, CAGELCO II took over the operation of Aparri Electric Plant, including 18 personnel.
