Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing for ERC Case No. 2016-133 RC, In the Matter of the Application for Approval of the 2nd Tariff Glide Path for the Regulatory Period from January 2017 to December 2019, has been set for the Commission’s approval on May 10, 2018, Thursday at Nine O’ Clock in the Morning (09:00AM) at CAGELCO II Multi-Purpose Hall, Macanaya, Aparri, Cagayan.
The National Electrification Administration (NEA) recently entered into a contract with a Japanese firm for the procurement of distribution line materials and brand new boom trucks which will be used to rehabilitate the power distribution system of the six electric cooperatives (ECS) operating in Mindanao.
General trading company, Nishizawa Limited, bested the four other Japanese participants in the bidding for the “Project for Improvement of Equipment for Power Distribution in Bangsamoro Area.”
The National Electrification Administration (NEA) encouraged members of the Northeast Luzon Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (Neleca) to remain actively engaged on massive efforts aimed at unifying their communities in aid of rural electrification developments.
Administrator Edgardo Masongsong made the statement citing the demand for all electric cooperatives (ECs) to prove that they are operationally efficient, if only to silence their critics and detractors in the electric power industry.
The Aklan Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Akelco) has moved to allay the fears of Boracay Island residents amid speculation that the electric service will be scaled down once the world-famous tourist destination undergoes a six-month rehabilitation beginning April 26.
Engr. Alexis Regalado, general manager of Akelco, assured all their member-consumer-owners (MCOs) within the electric cooperative’s coverage area that their operations would continue unhindered despite the projected operating losses during the Boracay closure.
A bigger share of electrification projects slated for 2018 will go to unenergized communities of Mindanao to bolster development in the region, state-run National Electrification Administration (NEA) announced Tuesday.
Administrator Edgardo Masongsong said a P1.817-billion budget has been allotted to provide electricity to 1,817 sitios across the country this year. Of this target, majority are located in Mindanao with 705 sitios, followed by Luzon with 560 sitios, and Visayas with 552 sitios.
Residents of the six unenergized sitios in the three municipalities of Tablas Island in the province of Romblon will not have to wait for years as electricity may come to them sooner than later.
No less than Administrator Edgardo Masongsong of the state-run National Electrification Administration (NEA) gave the assurance to include these areas to the sitios targeted for energization this year.
Data show there are six sitios that still have no electricity within the franchise area of the Tablas Island Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Tielco). These sitios are found in the municipalities of Odiongan, Looc, and Calatrava.
Notice is hereby given that a Public hearing for ERC Case No. 2017-010CF, In the Matter of the Application for Confirmation of Over and Under Recoveries of Automatic Cost Adjustments Implemented for the Billing Period from January 2014 to December 2016, has been set for Determination of Compliance with the Jurisdictional Requirements, Expository Presentation, Pre-Trial Conference, and Presentation of Evidence on March 22, 2018, Thursday at Ten Oçlock in the Morning (10:00am) at the ERC Hearing Room, 15th Floor, Pacific Bldg., San Miguel Avenue, Pasig City.
Ang naturang pagtaas ay base sa AGMA Resolution No. 02, “RESOLUTION APPROVING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RATE IMPACT OF IMPLEMENTED CAPEX PROJECTS FOR YEAR 2014-2016 WITH A TOTAL RFSC RATE ADJUSTMENT OF PHP 0.1125” na sinuportahan ng 7,448 Member-Consumer-Owners sa pamamagitan ng MSEAC RESOLUTION NO. 01, S.2016 na isinagawa noong 35th Annual General Membership Assembly.
