CAGELCO II Company Profile

CAGAYAN II ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. (CAGELCO II) is one of the two major Electric Distribution Utilities in the province of Cagayan.

On September 01, 1978, CAGELCO II took over in the operation of Aparri Electric Plant. Initially, service area covered sixteen municipalities of Northern Part of Cagayan namely Aparri, Lallo, Gattaran, Camalaniugan, Gonzaga, Sta. Ana, Sta. Teresita, Sanchez Mira, Pamplona, Allacapan, Lasam, Buguey, Abulug, Ballesteros, Claveria, and Sta. Praxedes. In 1983, through ratified petition, the Lone District of Apayao was also integrated namely Flora, Luna, Sta. Marcela, and Pudtol. Year 1992, Calayan Island was also added in CAGELCO II Franchise.

Today, CAGELCO II serves 21 municipalities with a total number of 110, 896 Household Connections in 480 Barangays within its coverage area.
