In celebration of Love Month, the CAGELCO II Lakad Takbo 2025: Power Love on the Run successfully concluded on February 15, 2025, gathering over 140 finishers at the CAGELCO II Main Office in Macanaya, Aparri. The event was held in collaboration with PHILRECA Partylist, Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA), CAGELCO II’s Labor and Management Committee (LMC) and 120 electric cooperatives across the country.
Laktak2025 aimed to redefine the way people celebrate love by encouraging a healthier and more active lifestyle. Instead of traditional celebrations, participants joined the event with their loved ones, whether running solo in the Self Love category, as couples in the Couple Bundle, or with friends in the Barkada Bundle. The initiative emphasized fitness, camaraderie, and shared experiences, making it a meaningful and refreshing way to celebrate Love Month.

The marathon was dominated by athletes from Camalaniugan Athletics, showcasing their endurance and competitive spirit throughout the race.
CAGELCO II’s General Manager, Engr. Rudolph Q. Adviento, expressed his gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and for making the event a success. He emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of health and wellness within the community while strengthening bonds with loved ones through meaningful activities like this.
With the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the runners, LakTak2025 proved to be more than just a race, it was a celebration of love and fitness.
