In a thrilling fusion of strength, skill and camaraderie, select Line Warriors from the different electric cooperatives in Northeast Luzon compete in the recently concluded 2024 Regional Linemen Rodeo Competition held at Isabela 1 Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ISELCO I) on Friday, October 11, 2024.
CAGELCO II emerged as the overall champion in the competition bagging the championship title in Conductorย Riding and Knot Tying, 1st runner up in Pole Dressing, Pole Climbing, Spine Board Management and Rodeo King and lastly, as 2nd runner up in the Pole Undressing event.
The CAGELCO II team composed of 40 lineworkers underwent rigorous training focusing on technique and safety through the guidance of their respective supervisors and safety officers.
The winners in the said competition will advance to the Luzon Wide Competition in 2025 to represent the Northeast Luzon Electric Cooperatives Association (NELECA). ###
