Empowered Women of CAGELCO II (BODS)
In celebration of the Women’s Month, lets get to know the empowered Women Directors of CAGELCO II!
From being a former Department Manager of the Electric Cooperative to becoming the President of the Board of Directors, Ms. Marilyn B. Donato showed that women leaders take a certain grace, intelligence and fearlessness to dominate in a man’s world.
While juggling her teaching career and the voice of Member-Consumer-Owners in District II, Ms. Elizabeth B. Suarez is a great example of what resilience means. She showed strength and courage to continue his late husband’s passion—to serve fellow Pamploneños and Sanchez Miranians.
Ms. Elina Taloza, a former principal of Licerio Antiporda Sr. National High School, proved that service knows no age. At 70, she continues to be active in her beloved hometown, Buguey and even reached as far as Sta. Teresita as CAGELCO II Director of District VI.
Leading with dedication and vision, Director Lucrecia V. Concepcion exemplifies women’s empowerment in public service—guiding District VII and uplifting the four municipalities of Apayao: Flora, Luna, Pudtol, and Sta. Marcela.
A former educator, Director Lenie P. Dones shows compassion in her work as Director of District IX covering Gonzaga and Sta. Ana leaving a special mark not only to her former students but also to the hearts of the Member-Consumer-Owners. After serving CAGELCO II for 19 years as an employee, Director Gilda A. Rabanal courageously continued to be a part of the Cooperative this time as a policy-maker for the welfare of the Member-Consumer-Owners.
