Sanchez Mira Sub-Office (SMSO) was one of the first sub-offices to be established in November, 1984 at Centro 1, Claveria. It was then relocated at Centro 01, Sanchez Mira near the Municipall Hall. Twenty-five (25) years later, a new and modern sub-office building was constructed at Centro 02, Sanchez Mira, Cagayan through the leadership of former Board president and director for District II –Dr. Pepito George C. Sacramed.

This office serves the western part of the franchise area of the Cooperative which includes 4 municipalities: Pamplona, Claveria, Sanchez Mira, and Sta. Praxedes and 2 barangays of Calanasan, Apayao: Sta. Filomena and Sta. Elena with a total of 88 energized Barangays.

The Lucban Sub Station situated at Lucban, Abulug is the power source which SMSO operates to supply power to households and commercial buildings. Claveria Action Center (CAC) located at Grassroots Cooperative Building, Claveria was also established to cater consumers within the said municipality and its nearby town- Sta.Praxedes.

SMSO holds two districts among the nine districts of the Cooperative: District 1-Claveria & Sta. Praxedes; and District 2- Pamplona & Sanchez Mira.

To date, SMSO has a total of 17,570 households connected or approximately 85% from its potential households.
